Sapphire Blue Ombre Tumbler, 10 oz

Two glazes, layered and left to move on their own in the kiln: a sapphire float poured first, with a honey flux over the top that breaks along the rim into a thin rust-brown line. Where they meet and pool, the surface clouds from deep near-black at the base up through indigo and blue into a pale, frosted white band near the top — no two cups come out of the kiln with the exact same cloud line.

Wheel-thrown and handleless, this 10 oz cup sits comfortably in one hand for coffee, tea, or espresso, and doubles easily as a small tumbler for anyone who prefers to skip the handle. The glaze is fully food-safe and dishwasher-safe on the interior and exterior alike.
